Christ United Methodist Preschool offers an abundance of care to a broad range of ages to God's biggest joy, children. Starting from six weeks of age to Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK). We are open Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM -6:00 PM. We only offer full time care at this time. We are open year round taking only major holidays and a few weeks out of the year - Winter Break and Spring Break (one week). Please see our school calendar under our Parent's Corner tab.

We are a fully ACCREDITED and GOLD SEAL school. Our accreditation is with the United Methodist Association of Preschools. At CUMP, we are authorized by the Early Learning Coalition of Duval County to provide free Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK). Our VPK class is Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 1:00pm which runs from August through May each year.

We use the Wee Learn Curriculum as our basis for learning. We are a hands-on, learning center-oriented school. Our goal is to have fun learning and growing. We have gathered local resources together to create extra curricular activities to our students on a weekly basis. We are blessed to have the chapel around the corner to keep Jesus's name ringing through our hearts.

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose for Christ United Methodist Preschool is to be a part of the overall mission of Christ United Methodist Church of Neptune Beach, Florida. CUMP exists as a not for profit outreach to the community by assisting parents with their role as early educators. Our responsibility is to promote a child's growth in spiritual, academic, physical, emotional, and social areas of development. We seek to create a nurturing environment that is safe, healthy and age appropriate for the children in our care. Our goal is to teach children about God's love and prepare each child for a successful transition to an elementary school environment.

CHAPEL

Pastor Eric or one of our amazing teachers lead our Weekly Chapel. we love gathering in the chapel and on the playground every Wednesday morning at 10:00 am.

STRETCH AND GROW

Unfortunately, we no longer offer this activity, but would be interested in having it return, so if you own a Stretch and Grow, give us a call!

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Ms. Sonni and church volunteers bi-monthly teach ages two and up bible lessons.

SPANISH

We are currently looking for a new Spanish teacher. If you're interested, please reach out to our Directors at 904-249-1550.

MUSIC

Mrs. Ware and Ms. Stephanie teach our Music class, with piano accompaniment for ages 2 and upon Thursday mornings.

SOCCER SHOTS

This is a voluntary elective class for the children. It is on Fridays. Parents who are interested will sign up with Soccer Shots.
