Christ United Methodist Preschool offers care to a broad range of ages to children from six weeks of age to 5 years old completing Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK).

We are open Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

We offer full time care hoping to meet your family's needs. We are open year round and closely follow Duval County Public Schools for Holiday breaks and inclement weather closures. Please see our school calendar under our Parent's Corner tab.

We are fully ACCREDITED through CPA and hold a Gold Seal accreditation through the Florida Department of Education. We are authorized by the Early Learning Coalition of Duval County to provide free Voluntary Pre- Kindergarten (VPK). Our VPK class is Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 1:00pm which runs from August through May each year.

We use the Wee Learn & Pinnacle Curriculum as a basis for learning. We focus on hands on and center orientated learning opportunities to challenge each child within their own personal limits.

Our goal is to have fun learning and growing.

We bring together local resources to create extra curricular activities for our students on a weekly basis. We are blessed to have our church chapel on campus to keep Jesus's name ringing through our hearts.

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose for Christ United Methodist Preschool is to be a part of the overall mission of Christ United Methodist Church of Neptune Beach, Florida.

CUMP exists as a not for profit outreach to the community by assisting parents with their role as early educators.

Our responsibility is to promote a child's growth in spiritual, academic, physical, emotional, and social areas of development.

We seek to create a nurturing environment that is safe, healthy and age appropriate for the children in our care. Our goal is to teach children about God's love and prepare each child for a successful transition to an elementary school environment.
